Lydia Adams, M.S.W., L.M.S.W.

Lydia received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Northern Michigan University. She completed her graduate work at the University of Michigan, where she received her Master's degree in clinical social work with a focus on interpersonal practice. Her areas of clinical interest are couples counseling, issues of intimacy/sexuality, self-esteem issues, anxiety, depression and work/life balance.

She enjoys supporting her clients on their journey of self-discovery and growth. She works primarily with individual adults and couples who desire to improve their relationships, emotional intimacy and sense of connection. Her therapeutic approach is warm, supportive and collaborative.

Originally from the Upper Peninsula, Lydia now lives in Howell with her husband of eleven years. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, doing yoga and participating in the performing arts.
