Because nobody knows a child better than his or her parents, we encourage parents to play a very active role in their child’s treatment. We use play, art, and storytelling techniques to engage the child and encourage opening up as we set goals and work toward those goals in treatment.
At Renewed Relationships, we offer therapy services for children who are experiencing behavioral concerns such as tantrums, acting out, discipline problems at school, or aggression. We also work with children who need help combating childhood fears, developing social skills, making and keeping friends, or are processing parental divorce, as well as children who have attention and organizational issues.
We also treat adolescents experiencing a wide range of concerns, including social issues, bullying, attention and motivation problems, aggression, stress and anxiety, and feelings of sadness.
