Brian Todorow, MA, LMSW

Brian Todorow is a social worker and therapist who has a passion for helping families and adolescents navigate the most challenging times. Brian has over 18 years of experience providing a space for people to get the emotional support and insight-oriented clinical services they need. In his career, he has specialized in crisis intervention and supporting people struggling with housing instability, family conflict, suicidality and mental health concerns.

Brian looks forward to taking his experience and using it to help people in our community address social and academic difficulties, resolve family conflict, and improve interpersonal relationships and communication. Brian also has expertise in supporting individuals (and the people that care about them) navigate concerns related to social identities.

Brian’s therapeutic style focuses on relationship building and offers support to individuals in an affirming and non-judgmental way. Brian is energetic, open and warm. He knows productive therapy can also be fun, and sometimes employs the use of games, props, experiential activities to facilitate healing, growth and insight. Brian believes that therapy is a space where all voices should be heard, and creates an atmosphere to foster greater connectedness, understanding, and hope.

Brian enjoys spending time with his family, kayaking, and is an avid podcast listener! He enjoys a good laugh and clever pun or brain teaser. Brian earned his BS in Psychology at Central Michigan (Go Chips!) and holds a Masters degree both in Social Work and Public Policy and Management. He is a fully licensed clinical social worker. Brian looks forward to working together on what is most important to you.
