Anxiety Therapy

With the constant demands of schedules, finances, and strained relationships, it is normal to find yourself feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Anxiety and stress can cause physical, emotional, and relational problems. While some stress is normal, many people find that they are living with a level of anxiety that is causing impairments such as poor sleep, racing or obsessive thoughts, inability to concentrate or follow through on tasks, anger and irritability, and relationship strain. Some individuals report symptoms of panic such as tightness in their chest, shortness of breath, heart racing, and feeling like they are having a heart attack.

We use techniques such as relaxation training, mindfulness, meditation, and thought re-framing to reduce the symptoms of anxiety and stress. Our therapists are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. We work with patients to set goals for their treatment and work toward reducing their symptoms of anxiety and increasing their sense of coping. We can help you examine behavioral and thinking patterns and help you restore your ability to handle life’s stress.
