Stress Relief Therapy

The American Institute of Stress estimates that one third of people report living with extreme stress. 77% report that their stress causes physical symptoms including fatigue, upset stomach, muscle tension, and feeling dizzy. 73% report psychological symptoms such as anxious and racing thoughts, poor sleep, poor motivation and concentration, social withdrawal, weight loss or gain, and anger.

While life events can cause stress, people often engage in negative thinking and behavioral patterns that make their experience of stress more severe. We use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and techniques such as mindfulness, relaxation training, and re-framing thoughts to address some of these causes of stress. Our therapists work with individuals to set healthy goals and boundaries in their lives, as well as to cope with and reduce symptoms of stress.
