Brittany Whaley, MS, LPC

Brittany is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a MS in Professional Counseling through Grand Canyon University. Her background is in ministry, with past jobs working as campus minister in both a middle school and a high school for 6 years, and has spent over 10 years volunteering with Christian youth groups across the country. She received her BA in Religious and Pastoral Studies with a minor in Philosophy from Mater Ecclesiae College in Rhode Island.

Brittany’s counseling experience includes treating adolescents and adults struggling with adjustment disorders, ADHD, social anxiety, general anxiety, self-harm, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief, life coaching, goal and boundary setting, and communication skills. Further experience includes guiding couples through premarital counseling and helping couples achieve closeness, healing, and harmony in their relationships.

Brittany has a passion for helping people learn tools for healthy coping, deep healing, and confident living. She loves working with adolescents, adults, and families as they move towards wholeness and living a fulfilled life. She sees wholeness as integrating the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual aspects of the person so that each one can find freedom to be and love themselves and, consequently, care for those around them. She is committed to accompanying her clients with empathy as they journey through self-discovery, address challenges and decisions, and seek healing. Brittany also offers Christian counseling as a way to invite God’s grace and teachings into their lives and solutions.

Brittany lives in Howell with her husband and children and considers herself an adventure addict, taking every opportunity to travel and learn. She enjoys reading, running, board games, and a good cup of coffee.
